Shipping Charges
The standard shipping charges for orders are as follows:

Note that, for destinations outside of the contiguous United States, shipping Surcharges still apply to orders over $150.00.
Taxes
Orders to be shipped to any location in the United States are not subject to any tax.
Orders to be shipped to locations in Canada will have sales taxes applied to them at the following rates:

| Prince Edward Island | 14% |
| Nova Scotia | 15% |
| All Other Locations in Canada | 5% |
Shipping Times
A reasonable estimate of the shipping time appears on every product page. Items which are Ready to Ship usually ship out in 2 to 5 business days. Items that are Made to Order have a "lead time" of anywhere from a few days to several weeks.
When your order is processed, you will receive an email notification that your order has been received. Using your Relaxed Cottage Living account, you can review your order history which will include the status of your order. If you don't have an account, you can contact us for an update.
Destinations
All products ship to the contiguous United States. The product Description indicates whether it also ships to Alaska & Hawaii, whether it ships to Canada, and whether it ships internationally. Please contact us if you wish to have an internationally-shipping product delivered to somewhere outside of the United States or Canada.
Canadian Orders
Some, but not all, products ship to Canada. Products which can be shipped to Canada are intentified on their product pages by the wording "Ships to U.S. & Canada" or "Ships Internationally".
On orders which originate in the United States, a shipping surcharge of 12% of the Sub-Total (exluding taxes and the shipping rate itself) will be applied at the time of purchase, due to the additonal cost of shipping from the United States to Canada.
Some products, which can be shipped from within Canada, are exempt from this surcharge. This is also indicated on the product page with the wording, "Ships to Canada at No Additional Cost". Relaxed Cottage Living is not responsible for customs charges, duties or additional taxes imposed by Canada.
Alaskan & Hawaiian Orders
On orders with destinations in Alaska or Hawaii, shipping surcharges will be applied at the time of purchase:

International Orders (outside of U.S. or Canada)
Some, but not all, products ship outside of the U.S. and Canada. These products are intentified on their product pages by the wording "Ships Internationally".
Please contact us to inquire about shipping items to destinations outside of the contiguous U.S., Alaska, Hawaii or Canada. We're happy to arrange this whenever possible.
Shipping Method
Each product Description indicated whether your order will ship by FedEx or UPS, or by Motor Freight. Note that, in some cases, an order of multiple items may necessitate delivery by Motor Freight.
When an order ships by Motor Freight, you will be contacted by the carrier to arrange a delivery time. You will be responsible for unloading your order from the truck, unless other arrangements are made. Contact us if you will require special delivery of a Motor Freight order.
