Fire Pit Safety Information
Read these guidelines and follow them using any of our fire pit or fire bowl products.
- Keep children and pets away from flames, and be aware at all times of the danger of an open flame to children.
- Never leave fire unattended. Extinguish fire completely before leaving fire pit unattended.
- Fire pit and cover will be hot when in use. Do not touch.
- Never burn indoors, or in any place which is covered (including places covered by tree branches).
- Never burn flammable liquids such as gasoline or started fluid in the fire pit.
- Do not use fire pit to cook food.
- As necessary, use non-flammable materials to protect the surface beneath and surrounding the fire pit from heat, sparks and embers.
- Do not place fire pit against - or near - a wall or fence.
- Always know the local laws concerning the use of outdoor open flames, and obey them.
